Credit info for Dr Evil or Blofeld Impersonator for Tintri
Client: Tintri
Trade Show: VMworld
Role: Dr Evil or Blofeld impersonator for Trade Show Booth
My acting scene as Dr Evil or Blofeld impersonator for Tintri
I was hired to impersonate the classic James Bond villain Blofeld for their trade show booth. This is who Mike Meyers based Dr Evil on in the Austin Powers movies. The client’s theme for their booth was Bond – James Bond.
I was into 1960’s/Retro Vegas/Space Age Bachelor design before it’s resurgence in the 1990’s . I have watched all the James Bond/Austin Powers movies countless times. I’d love to meet Mike Meyers in person.
Trailer for You Only Live Twice
Blofeld has been played by many actors over the years, but my favorite is Donald Pleasence. He is such a freak – I love it. Above is his introductory scene in You Only Live Twice.

Ian Fleming includes information about Blofeld’s background in his novel Thunderball. According to the novel, Blofeld was born on 28 May 1908 (which is also Fleming’s birthday) in Gdingen, Imperial Germany (now Gdynia, Poland); his father Ernst George Blofeld was Polish, and his mother Maria Stavro Michelopoulos was Greek, hence the well-known Greek name Stavro.[2] After the First World War, Blofeld became a Polish national. As a young man, he was well-versed in the social science disciplines, but also in the natural science and technology disciplines. He first graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in Political History and Economics, and then from the Warsaw University of Technology with a degree in Engineering and Radionics. He was then hired by the Polish Ministry of Posts and Telegraphs and appointed to a sensitive communication position, which he used for buying and selling stocks at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

There are many other Chris Rogers on IMDB, but I own the SAG-AFTRA name Chris Rogers. I tried to reserve the website name ChrisRogers dot com, but can’t because a writer in Texas owns that url.
