Here is my 2023 SAG Awards FYC Screener Grid to help make sure you see all the 29th Annual SAG Awards nominated Motion Pictures and TV shows. FYC is an industry-standard abbreviation that means For Your Consideration.
This pdf is meant for you to download and print. To make sure you have seen all the nominated movies and tv shows, you can put a check mark next to each one you’ve seen and/or write your thoughts on after viewing. When it comes time to vote, you are much more prepared. If I don’t write things down, I forget them. I have so much going through my head. Don’t get me started. 😉

The 29th Annual SAG Awards nominees were announced earlier today at 10am EST. The day before I got up at 5am to work on a T-Mobile video, so my body clock was ready.
Timeline & Important Dates
Here is link to the official Calendar. Voting ends February 22, 2022. The Awards show will stream on February 26, 2022.
Mr SAG Awards has NO control over how the nominees are seen – if at all. That decision is completely up to the whim of the Producers/Studio . Don’t yell at the SAG Awards team.
I find it incredibly hard to see them all in such a short amount of time and to balance with work, holidays/parties, life, etc. I suggest you watch these ASAP. You have to make an effort to see them all in the time allotted.
PIN Number for SAG Awards website
In the next week or so, the Awards office will EMAIL and SNAIL MAIL you a postcard with your PIN (assuming you are current on your Union Dues). This will give you access to special Members Only section of the SAG Awards. That site contains links to see the nominees.
I will try to demystify the process so you get the most out of the SAG Awards and post a short tutorial on how to do that when I get my PIN. So check back in a week or so. If you enter your email address in the Sidebar on the side where it says, “Subscribe to my Blog”, I will email you when it is published.
As I wrote in an earlier post, the voting process is confusing, hectic, and very difficult for the Awards office to coordinate. YOU need to handle your business and get on top of all this ASAP.

Watch the SAG Awards Show
Watch the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® on Sunday, February 26, 2022 at 8pm (ET)/5pm (PT) on the Netflix channel on YouTube.com. For the last several years, it was broadcast on TNT and TBS. I’ve heard that next year, we will watch the show on the actual Netflix streaming channel itself.
Awards shows (Oscars, Golden Globes, etc) ratings have been slipping for past several years. This is a bold choice to stream it on Netflix, and I’m guessing it makes more sense numbers-wise. I hope this partnership works out and WON’T negatively affect our upcoming renegotiation of our contracts. The honeymoon is over and Netflix needs to pony up the rates paid to union members to make it more comparable to rates paid on network shows.
